Which is the better starter paintball gun / marker?

March 10th, 2010 | Category: Uncategorized

Should I buy the Spyder Pilot ACS package or the Tippman 98 Custom package? They are both around the same price. If neither, whats a better starter gun?

For Woodsball and Speedball
Nothing over $200. Around 150

Now for spyder’s the Spyder Pilot ACS Package is a great gun, i myself started out with a spyder fenix. They aren’t the easiest to find custom parts to to enhance the performance, but they are very durable AND they are GREAT out of the box, also i have had a few problems with my spyder fenix ACS and the people at kingman tech. are the best to help treat a problem. Now the Tippmann 98 is a good gun for start but they take a lot of customizing and a lot of money to make better. The Tippmann is very reliable and durable. Yet, Spyder’s are great right out of the box with little to none extras needed. Tippmann 98 isn’t as good without all the extras. I would go with the Spyder Pilot ACS.

Is there a good shop to get custom paintball gear in the Norfolk, VA area?

March 10th, 2010 | Category: Uncategorized

I’m looking for a place that can design a vest. I’m not just looking for graphics; I am also looking for a place that can actually design and build the vest. Any thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

How can i upgrade my paintball gun by adding accessories?

March 10th, 2010 | Category: Uncategorized

I have a spyder TL-R paintball gun and i been wanting to get something more powerful but realized that it would cost too much. I have a 14 inch barrel on it, but want to upgrade anything possible on my gun. I’ve googled online for parts for my gun but cant find anything.

I would tell you to check out www.pbreview.com . You can search for parts with the marker specific option for accessories.

Good luck!

What’s a good paintball package for a beginner? (see detail)?

March 08th, 2010 | Category: Uncategorized

I want a durable and reliable paintball package for mostly woods-ball but sometimes speed-ball. Here are a few things that I need:

~Barrel that’s accurate at a minimum of 35 yards
~Hopper that holds 150+ rounds
~Great ability to customize on the marker
~Barrel sock, doesnt have to be fancy
~A mask that gives good eye, nose and mouth protection for under $40, ear/neck protection is a plus. Plain is best
~No sight rail
~Being able to play woodsball as well as speed-ball/ air-ball with the same gun would be a big +

Also,
1.Can you mix & match different parts from different guns/companies? Such as a Smart Parts All-American on a Tippmann A5, would that work or not?
2.What is this used for?http://www.sportsauthority.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2762213&cp=712507.712513&parentPage=family
3. What is a good price to pay for a quality brand and model gravity feed or agitated hopper? I’ve seen them from $4 to $180+ and am kind of confused

I would recommend a Tippmann 98 custom because it is very customizable. Get a smart parts progressive barrel and a viewloader evolution 3 loader. Its cheap and feeds 23 balls per second. For the mask just buy a cheap Jt mask. Tippmanns are mostly for woodsball but you can play speedball with it if you want. You can mix different company barrels with your gun like in your example. The hoppers that are over $100 are mostly for speedball guns so just get a viewloader evolution 3 or a cyclone feed system if you get the tippmann 98 custom.

How do I legally own paintball equipment in New York City?

March 08th, 2010 | Category: Uncategorized

I’ve heard gun control laws are pretty strict, and include regulations for gas-powered devices like paintball markers.

I want to be able to bring my trusty old Tippmann .68 carbine with me without fear of arrest and mandatory jail time for "gun" possession.

I myself am an avid mil-sim paintballer. I have gotten in big verbal debates with police officers because my marker is so realistic. I always win because I say it as it is. " Paintball markers are not firearms and are not regulated in any way or form.’ There is a law that they have to have a orange glazed tip though. This only applies to replicas of gun such as M-16 and AK-47′s to name a couple. You should find no problem what so ever.

Spyder Xtra / Paintball Package ( Selling for 125$)

March 07th, 2010 | Category: Uncategorized

This is is upgraded spyder with an electronic trigger and shoots about 13 bps and its not a bad beginner gun.

1.) Empire reloader feeds up to 15 bps and this gun doesnt jam up with this hopper.

2.) The manual just explains some things about the e-trigger and yes a paintball exploded on the corner.

3.)The sypder’s stock trigger is just in case something happens to the electric trigger you can put the stock trigger on until its fixed.

4.)Spare viewloader, it came with the gun, once again just in case.

5.)PMI pod holder can hold up to 3 pods and is small and light weight.

6.)The pure energy 20 oz tank last for a pretty decent amount of time and you wont need that many refills.

7.)Smart Parts Jersey / sixe small ( its pretty big for a small)

8.) RedZ 6 pod pack holder

9.) 3 shock pods with pads on the lids so paint wont break when you dive, etc. ( includes 5 other normal pods with it)

10.) Pure Energy Compressed Air which is eaiser to fill than a CO2 tank and this is alot better anyway.

11.) Jt cover for tanks ( co2 or Compressed Air)

12.) A squeeje. barrel plug, and some oil.

13.) A Jt mask which si in bad condition but its not included in the price ( free)

and it comes with a metal elbow for the hopper so you dont have to buy the plastic ones.

Paintball DDay Omaha 05

March 07th, 2010 | Category: Uncategorized

This game took place on june 2005 at the beaches of Villa Gessel (Buenos Aires-Argentina ). It was a Dday recreation organized by Speedsports (www.speedsports.com.ar) . The beach was beautifully prepared as you can see…, with plenty of sand obstacles, some trenches and pillboxes uphill. Recball in Argentina is growing really fast thanks to this kind of well organized scenario games.
Tokamak (Ratas de Asalto -Pb team).

Good Paintball Markers under 200?

March 06th, 2010 | Category: Uncategorized

i’m playing paintball more and more these days, and the rentals at the field are 55$ per day and its a total rip-off. so i’m looking for a good marker package for under 200 dollars. hopefully that would include a HPA tank for it. prolly a 20oz. please add links…

i would be playing mostly rec woodsball and some speedball with friends.

You can get a Smart Parts Ion for like $150 new, or around $70 used. Don’t get a CO2 tank, get an HPA tank or your gun will be ruined. You also need a hopper and a mask. DO NOT cheap out on the mask, unless you want it sliding off your face, being uncomfortable, and fogging up every few seconds.
