i built this giant hopper with a UTZ brand cheese ball container, a funnel, an elbow joint, and a lot of duct tape. I had to use my Dad’s gun because mine broke and i cant walk to trigger on his so I’m shooting rather slow. My brother’s camera is too low quality to see the boar im plastering but he keeps looking down there anyways.

after you get shot in the face with a paintball, there is an oily film on my lense that makes them blurry when i wipe them. what should i use to clean them

Use water or an anti-fog/lens cleaner and a micro fiber cloth. DO NOT use a glass cleaner (ie. Windex) to clean your lens.

The microfiber cloth can be used dry to wipe most of the paint off after you’ve been called out and in between games, until you are able to get back to the staging area.

I want to start to play paintball with my own gear and yes, i have rented guns many times and I would like to know which paint ball store is the cheapest so that i can buy all my gear cheap.

Im going to play paintball on saturday and i have to set my marker to 280 fps or less so i just need to know how adjust it in case it shoots to fast. Thanks!

theirs a Velocity Screw on the left side with the logo… just turn it clockwise to speed it up, and counterclockwise to speed it down..

i like mine at around 270 feet per second(FPS)… get it chronographed at your local paintball field… they let you do it for free.

The ski mask should protect my neck and the top of my head but:
-Will it be too hot wearing it under the paintball mask?
-Will the ski mask absorb the sweat?
-Should i just wear a baseball cap back words?

- It can get too hot, yes. Depends on your own tolerance for heat. However, the paintball mask retains your face heat pretty well, despite being ventilated.
- It will absorb sweat but depending on the material, it may not evaporate/dry readily, so it could become uncomfortable. And it could cause fogging problems with the goggle lens.
- Backwards cap is a little better. There’s even a padded cap made by 100th Monkey for paintball. But most players opt for a beanie or headwrap instead for head protection.

Another downside to a ski mask is it muffles your voice. Communication is VERY important in paintball and it’ll be hard to do that if people can’t hear you well.

If you want to protect your neck, opt for a bandanna around your neck or one of the actual neck protectors made for paintball. However, no neck covering does well to protect. I’d only suggest neckwear if you’re cold.

Checout the Hammerhead Paintball barrels. They are probably the most accurate barrels I’ve come across. The are on the pricey side, but a kit will include barrel backs or ‘fins’ to help you match your paint to the correct barrel bore.

They use a patented barrel rifling that controls spin as the paintbal is shot out of the barrel. Here are a few articles about rifling and hammerhead barrels.

I was opening the hopper to put a pod in, and the lid snapped off. It was snowy, so I couldn’t find it when I went back to look. Is there anyway to get a new lid?
