Should you really wear a paintball mask while playing Airsoft?
I ask this because as you may know, paintball masks are practically a sauna when running around in the hot, humid summer weather. (I live in the northeast.) I was thinking about going with just skiing goggles, but I imagine getting hit on the exposed parts of your face would hurt pretty bad. I guess it’s a balance between protection and comfort, but does it really matter?
They make airsoft masks that are smaller than paintball masks and much cooler. That is because the do not need to be as strong because they only have to block a small BB

Well, personally I would go with the full face mask. Getting hit anywhere in the face (or the side of the head for that matter) just doesn’t sound like it would be very much fun.

You don’t really need a paintball mask.
I play airsoft all the time and I never wear
one. A good pair of goggles should be just
fine. Getting hit in the face hurts pretty bad
but you really want to worry about is your eyes.
